The United Kingdom council has been planned for the major changes in their educational system. In terms the top priority of this is how to manage the special educational needs and disabilities SEND support. We are talking here about the Shake-up like structuring again everything or changing of staff or maybe the new system of education may be introduced.
Normally, it happens when there is constantly poor performance from the educational system. We all know when the educational system fails of certain country the youth of that country will suffer the most.
- Cambridgeshire County Council stated that “experiencing abnormal increases” in the need of SEND support and proposed the changes to almost of the 293 Full-time roles with a few job losses.
- SEND stands for Special Education Needs Provision. The term requires to be fulfilling as for the children who need the quality of support and any kind of extra help.
- The changes we are talking about here are may be the shuffling or replacing of the senior staff. The new leadership and thoughts can bring improve to performance.
- There may be some departments who will be submerged and some small niches can lead in to specialised units in it. That would be better management for SEND.
- A council spokesperson said the plan ” We aims to make the resources better aligned” which leads to the better and early support to children and young people.
- There would be the stronger oversight systems which will take care of the student progress and performance. This also requires more staff in the management.
- The council also added ” The proposed restructure aim to integrate functions that are currently separate so that schools can access the right support more quickly on a locality basis”
- Gordon White, which is the regional organiser from the GMB union stated that they are actively working with their members on the service. We all know that GMB always ensure the best outcome for our members.
